June Castellan scored 38 points at Ironbank Arena on Saturday, and for the ninth consecutive game the Huburb Ironbacks won a basketball game they were supposed to win, which in this city counts as suspense.
Castellan, who grew up two blocks away, was asked afterwards about the championship. She held up a sock.
"Same socks since game one," she said. "We're not talking about anything else."
