Huburb is a city that does not exist. It has 1,284,392 fictional residents, 10 neighbourhoods, a stock exchange, a police department, a startup district and an alarming number of raccoons.

Everything published here is fiction and satire. Stories are written about Huburb's own invented characters, companies and institutions — never presented as real reporting about real people.

What makes Huburb different from a random story generator is memory. Events become part of the city's history: a tunnel discovered on one day doubles a budget on the next and becomes affordable housing two weeks later. Characters remember. Businesses rise and fail. Seasons finish.

Today the city holds 20 documented residents, 9 reporters and 5 running storylines.
