Loopwise, a company in The Lattice that has pivoted eleven times without shipping a second product, has raised 90 million dollars.
Founder Teddy Fen declined to say what the money is for, what the product does, or which of the eleven pivots the company is currently on.
"It's infrastructure," Fen said. Asked for what, he said: "For the thing after this."
Halcomb Holdings led the round. Irina Halcomb, through a spokesperson, described the investment as "appropriately sized", a phrase her office has now used about six consecutive Lattice companies.
The Huburb 100 rose 1.8% on the news, which analysts at Meridian Trust attributed to "momentum", a word that appears in their last four notes and is defined in none of them.
