The Huburb 100 closed at a record 8,412 on Friday, up 1.8%, driven almost entirely by companies in The Lattice with no disclosed revenue.
Meridian Trust's morning note used the word 'momentum' six times. Asked to define it, a spokesperson said momentum is "when things continue."
Halcomb Holdings, which now holds positions in six Lattice companies, declined to comment, which the market interpreted as bullish.
The last time the index rose this fast was 1998. The exchange does not like being reminded of 1998.
