Why does it matter?

Assistants become far more useful when they see what you see. Glasses are the first form factor where that is socially plausible — which is also the reason privacy questions are unavoidable.

How does it work?

Onboard sensors capture context, light processing happens locally, and heavier model work is offloaded to a paired phone or the cloud.

Where is it today?

Audio-and-camera models ship at consumer prices. Bright, full-colour displays in a normal-looking frame remain unsolved.
