Forty-eight hours after a 1912 subway platform appeared where a bicycle lane was meant to be, the cost of Huburb's signature infrastructure project doubled.
The revised figure, 412 million, was disclosed in an appendix to a procurement report, on page 211, under the heading "Miscellaneous Subsurface".
Municipal lawyer Sabine Arroyo confirmed the appendix was public, adding: "Everything is public. That is not the same as everything being read."
